The bands consists of members from all grade levels in chemistry and biology. We only play music that we ourselves find fun to both play and dance to, and aim to contribute with musical elements at Volvox & Alkymisten's many different events that take place during the year. We are also a really cozy bunch who also have nights filled with coziness and jamming (like music and mojito <3) in addition to rehearsals.

BumbleBeats has its origins as a revue band in Volvox & Alkymisten's very first revue production, "Vi-Be-Klager", and then consisted of vocals, two keyboards, guitar, drums, bass, violin, tuba, trombone, trumpet and alto sax. We had so much fun playing the revue that we quickly agreed to continue jamming together. Subsequently, we were able to play for dancing at the line association's 20th anniversary in 2018, as well as immball, spring party, XYZ-faktor and even a performance at Studentersamfundet in the fall of 2019. After the revue, the band has also been granted funding to purchase its own electric drum kit, electric piano, PA system, monitor, microphone and mixer, etc.

Fall 2023 so many people applied for the band that we had to create a second band: The Keytones!
